Qlik has a mechanism to generate temporary licenses for a variety of products. They are used to allowe Enterprises to evaluate QlikView in their own context before committing to an investment in a new BI tool.
However, you'll have to talk to your Qlik partner to know whether you as an individual can get a temporary license, and whether they will grant one just for QlikView Desktop. Like Vishwarat already mentioned, the Personal Edition is a license that is comparable to what you want.
