Qlik Nprinting excel template pivot chart not appearing properly when preview as pdf.

I created an excel template in Qliksense Nprinting. There I created a pivot table and created a pivot chart(bar chart) using that pivot table.  But when I preview the template in excel the output is fine..but when I preview the above template in pdf then pivot bar chart is not appearing properly. Can you please suggest..

Thanks,

Anil

Hi Anil,

Could you give us more detail? For example the template and the printed report?

I tested with September 2017 and the PDF preview contains the Excel pivot chart.

What's you Qlik NPrinting version?

Best Regards,

Ruggero

Hi,

Thanks for the info. I think there is a bug about converting Excel pivot chart into PDF documents.

As temporary workaround you could:

- keep the report in Excel format

- create the pivot chart in the original QlikView or Qlik Sense docuument and import is into the template as an image

Ruggero

Ruggero,

This issue's resolution is important for our project, but I could not find it mentioned as "resolved" in the latest release (Feb 2018).

Could you confirm that, please?

Regards,

Vladimir

Please disregard my previous question. I was looking at wrong Release Notes file.

It's mentioned in the proper one:

Hi,

From February 2018 Release Notes:

Excel Pivot Chart were rendered incorrectly in PDF

If you exported an Excel report with a pivot chart to PDF format, the pivot chart would render incorrectly.

Please test your report with February 2018 or February 2018 SR1, it should work.

If you are still having the issue please open a urgent support ticket. In fact I opened the bug after reading this community conversation.

Best Regards,

Ruggero

Yes, my bad...

I was looking for it in QS Release Notes, not NPrinting ones...
