Identify applied filters using Qlik Engine API

I'm using QlikSense via the Qlik Engine API, and have successfully created session objects, and field selections to basically be able to query what I'd like using some JS code.

There's an issue that I'm running into, and that is when I apply filters that override each other I get no notice of that and essentially run the risk of getting incorrect replies to my queries.

So I'm wondering, is there a way to see what selections have been made on any field using the Qlik Engine API, so that I can verify what filters have actually been applied when accessing the HyperCube data of my objects?
