Re: Qlik Sense Hub URL, how to hide/remove authentication port(4248,4244) in the URL?
Mark Ritter Nov 2, 2017 8:17 AM (in response to Jim Chan )We use a URL like yours to access our Enterprise Hub. At no point does it display any of the ports in the URL as I navigate around apps and sheets.
I suspect this is controlled in your DNS and possibly in the White List of your Virtual Proxy in the QMC. But not exactly sure.
Maybe you could provide more specifics on how you are setup.

Re: Qlik Sense Hub URL, how to hide/remove authentication port(4248,4244) in the URL?
Jim Chan Nov 3, 2017 5:35 AM (in response to Mark Ritter)Hi Mark,
Let me show you the flow:
I type in my qlik sense hub url and then i press search or enter:
1) www.myqliksense.com
it change to this URL, type in username and password, press enter
2) www.myqliksense.com:4244/form/?targetId=eb5eb4a1-41b8-4a5a-b6d2-a4a2b224cd85
it changes back to this URL.
3) www.myqliksense.com/hub/my/work
MY problem is.... in the step 2 - how to hide the port number? or how to configure it doest show STEP number 2? just direct from step 1 to step 3?
Rgds

Re: Qlik Sense Hub URL, how to hide/remove authentication port(4248,4244) in the URL?
Jim Chan Nov 3, 2017 5:38 AM (in response to Mark Ritter)Mark,
maybe u r accessing single sign on environment , u wont be able to see the port number and the target ID all sorts of things.
But in my client envionment... is using FORM based. which required user to key in username and password.
