I'm only a newbie but had a similar issue after Windows 10 applied an update to my laptop.
I downloaded the latest version of QS Desktop
I also backed up and then deleted all the Apps from this folder \Qlik\Sense\Apps.
If that doesn't fix the issue (as it did for me), you can also try deleting all the extension from here \Qlik\Sense\Extensions and any files in here \Qlik\Sense\Buffers
