Does the URL should be developed on a local server based on WMS,WFS,TMS... Is that need to create a base mapsuch as Google map, Baidu map(In China), and deploy it to a geoserver ?
Check out the documentation and the tutorials. QGA can consume map services from any WMS, WFS or TMS. However beware of legal terms, Google et al don't allow direct tile access.
