As far as I'm aware Qlik Sense Cloud does not support Extensions at this stage & this applies to all versions of Qlik Sense Cloud.
You can however:
- Set Published Apps to reload automatically on a schedule (eg. daily at a certain time) - right click the App in Workspaces and select "Schedule published data refresh"
- Run a manual data refresh on Published Apps, - right click the App in Workspaces and select "Refresh published data"
The only option to reload Apps in Workspaces that I've seen so far is to initiate the reload through Data Manager or Data load editor - depending on how you built your App.
There is apparently a "load data button" coming to the edit page of Qlik Sense with the next version, but I'm not sure when this will be.
Hope this helps?
Hello Iulian - you got some great info here - but wanted to clarify - the built-in reload button that is part of the Nov 2017 release is only for those that are in edit mode - it makes it easier to to reload data instead of having to go back to the data manager / script editor screens. A manual reload button via an extension, to be displayed in a publish app, as stated by Leigh, is not available in Qlik Sense Cloud (Business) - however were are certifying a number of extensions for next year - I will inquire to see if the reload button extension will be one of them.

What extensions are certified? (There is currently no badging or filter on branch for these items)
The only certified extensions currently are the ones that we are planning to put on Qlik Sense Cloud in the near future.
These 4 are on the certification list, and final certification will be made shortly:
- qsVariable: http://branch.qlik.com/#!/project/56728f52d1e497241ae697f8
- ShowHide Container: http://branch.qlik.com/#!/project/583764c83dc0cfc4138afa26
- Sheet Navigation + Actions for Qlik Sense http://branch.qlik.com/#!/project/56728f52d1e497241ae698a0
- Tabs for Qlik Sense: http://branch.qlik.com/#!/project/56d56e065b663ae4d63b028a
It’s important to note that the versions of these extensions available on Branch are NOT certified. Certified versions will only be available for use on Qlik Sense Cloud or available for download from Qlik Market (market.qlik.com). Only the versions on Qlik Market will be badged. The plan is for those versions on Branch to be the open source, work-in-progress versions, subject to change at any time, and therefore, can’t be certified.
What does certification entail for a customer that we can share?
For a customer, certification doesn’t entail anything different except using the certified version. For developers (whether they be our customers or partners, or outside of those communities) the certification process will mean submitting the extension to be run through a battery of tests to ensure that they run correctly, don’t use any undocumented APIs, contain no malicious code, and some other tests. If they want the extension to be listed on Qlik Market, there is another check that the QM team makes before they can be posted (mostly around brand compliance and usability).
One last important thing to note: The certification program is not yet in place. The four extensions we certified were Qlik-created. We are not yet ready to accept outside submissions for certification.
Hope this information is helpful to you all.
