Help on Applymap

Hi folks, I'm new to qlikview and I need guidance on apply map. Is it possible to achieve the below. If not please help with work around. ApplyMap('ProductName', productId, '-') as productname Below ApplyMap is dependent on the above ApplyMap('prdouctname', ApplyMap('mapingtable', productId, '-'), '-') as category

Nested ApplyMaps are possible, but it would be difficult to know without seeing more script to see what you are trying to do

Mapping table has product ID and product name. trying to apply applymap from new column to classify product category but the problem is we do not have category with product id
