QVW wouldn't display when it is very big

Hi, Guys,

We have a QVW which reads data from several QVDs. After reloading data, QVW file size became very big (1.2 GB). When we tried to view it through AccessPoint site, it displays empty page. Total size of QVD files are around 5 GB, which might be the cause of the problem. But if we cannot reduce data size and cannot have a powerful server (at least for now), what can we do to solve this problem?

Do you need all that data ? Is your reporting requirement actually going to use it , for example users only interested in trending 3 years but you have for example 10 years loaded up ? So until you get a bigger server (as you quoted) perhaps think about data reduction. Of course too this could be down to model design and the expressions you have written.

It may be worth monitoring your server performance stats.
