QlikSense solution and architecture

Hi all,

I'm new with QlikSense (familiar with QlikView) and i wonder regarding the best practice for Sense implementation.

We have few QV documents.

We wish to step forward to Sense and starting with senior management.

First step is to create for senior management GeneralManager solution based on Sense and the source data will be from existing QV documents.

what expected is to provide a solution which, on one hand, will include objects from several 'worlds' (Finance, Sales, Logistics, etc.) and on the other hand will allow the end user to 'play' with the provided solution (adding objects, replacing measures, etc. where all based on a joined repository like the master items)

Since all 'worlds' includes both different and common fields we thought of:

Creating several apps (one per business case for example).

Creating a mashup that combines data from all apps (when selecting in a common field relevant object will update and when selecting in a unique filed, other irrelevant object won't change).

Please write your notes and comments regarding the solution

Second,

What about the architecture? i guess that since in the future we will use only sense we wish to have a "Multi-node scenario: Production deployment allowing development" like here https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/3.2/Subsystems/PlanningQlikSenseDeployments/Content/Server/Server-...

Please advice

Regards,

Shay
