change nPrinting report to landscape in excel template editor

IS there a trick to change the format to landscape. I am using the excel template, and choosing Page=>Orientation=>Landscape.  Error screenshot is attached.

Hi,

this looks to me like Microsoft Excel error - doesn't it?

What happens if you go directly to the Excel and try to do the same?

What is a default printer?

regards

Lech

Hi,

I googled your error message. It seems an error that appears in Excel when trying to save a workbook as PDF (for example Saving to PDF format - Microsoft Community). In Qlik NPrinting you must save templates in their original format an, if you want a PDF output, select PDF when you associate the the report to a task.

You can create PDF output from Excel, but remember that controlling the final layout of printed pages in Excel is not so easy. This is because Excel is not designed to print PDF.

Best Regards,

Ruggero
