Alternatives to filter pane

Hi,

Is there any alternative to a filter pane in qliksense, basically I am looking for a drop down list along with search functionality in it

The default filter pane has search functionality... what are you trying to do?

There is also the selections tool (upper fight corner) that allows for searching for dimensions and values.

Hi David,

The current filter pane suffices my requirements but my stakeholders don't want to see the ellipsis(...) box when the filter pane with multiple dimensions is placed within a small space. So, I am looking for a workaround to check if there is any extension that can provide me the filter pane functionalities without the ellipsis box

Every widget can be expanded using the double arrow in the upper right of the widget when hovering.

If i encounter conditions where I can't fit all the "needed" dimensions in a filter pane, I ask if that same dimension is already available in a chart or table where it can be used to filter or if all the dimension are "really" needed,

Dimensions being used only occasionally can be accessed via the selection tools.

Beyond that, there is an extension on Branch that allows you to reset the layout grid to give you more "space"; personally I push for a more simple layout - best practice of no more than 5 widgets.
