If opening your document in the AccessPoint necessitates the use of the Internet Explorer plug-in, then you must first install that plug-in on your local PC.
Where can you get the IE plug-in installer for Windows? There are two methods:
- Let the AccessPoint suggest a link to download the installer from the QlikView Server. This must be configured first in the QMC.
- get the installer from the QlikView Server. It is available in server path C:\Program Files\QlikView\Server\QlikViewClients\QlikViewPlugin, or download the Plug-in installer from the Qlik Downloads page where you usually download new versions of the server software. If you don't have access to your QlikView Server or to the Qlik downloads page, ask an administrator to do that for you.
