NPrinting April 2018 Designer Freezes on Save/Close

Hi -

Question: What would cause the Nprinting Designer April 2018 to freeze? I push the 'Save and Close' button on the designer and everything freezes. I have to use task manager to kill the Nprinting and Excel processes.

I think I figured this out. We moved the Designer to the same machine running Nprinting Server. This eliminates some of the moving parts. No more communication issues between designer and server. We design by remoting into the server and using designer there.

Just for your information we use designer from our local machines, and it works perfectly fine. Looks like the problem is something else.

I'm feeling pretty frustrated with Nprinting. After alot of work, I finally got the implementation working. I'd like to see improvements in:

1. User management - managing our users via spreadsheet is a hassle
2. Integration with MS office - okay it's a microsoft product so there are sure to be issues. Perhaps the way to go is with a cloud based version to eliminate the things that can go wrong
