I have applied the logic below as my variable is showing a value of '-'
The forumula above doesn't change anything and I still see a value of '-'. Any idea how to get around this please?
if([WORK]=' ', 1, [WORK])
or try this in script
If(IsNull(WORK) or WORK='',1,WORK) as NewWork
How about one of these
If(Len(Trim(WORK)) = 0, 'Unknonwn', WORK)
If(WORK = '-', 'Unknonwn', WORK)
The formula is looking okay.
How you used your variable?
I think, if you used this variable in a text object and WORK column having multiple values, it will show '-'.
if you select one WORK value, it will show properly.
The logic looks OK, but perhaps:
