Section Acces Password

Hello All,

Just 1 simple question :

- Can we remove Section Access password when open the document?

(FYI, I'm using custom directory for the password access point)

Thank you.

You can, by simply removing the PASSWORD field from Section Access. But I guess that is not really your question.

If you want to know if you can omit the dialog when using embedded document security (and revert to some sort of Single Sign-On), then the answer is NO. It will always appear.

May be try like this:

ACCESS, NTNAME, USERID

USER, DOMAIN\XXX, *

USER, *, YYY

Adding to Peter's:

Unless the current Saction Access table is using USERID and PASSWORD. Then NTNAME can be used instead, in which case, if there is still a prompt for username and password like in the screenshot, is most often due to lack of permissions for the user opening the app.
