I'm getting following error when trying to load the hub.
In the chrome console I see the following
The server is hosted outside the corporate network.
Outside the corporate network we don't get the error.
We use a forcepoint (websense) proxy to protect our internet traffic.
Also QlikSense cloud works without issues.

I would go back to forcepoint and have a written confirmation that they do support websockets connectivity. When you mean "Outside the corporate network we don't get the error." I think you mean "inside" instead, so if it is inside, then do you user "forcepoint", if not, then that leans to a middle technology is interfering the websocket connectivity.
