Upgrade Qlikview Server/Publisher from Version 8.5 to Version 10

Hi,

If any one has upgraded the Server/Publisher from Version 8.5 to Version 10. Can you please share the best practices and Upgrade document with the steps followed.

Can you please also mention if any issues came up and the steps taken to overcome them.

It is not possible to upgrade Publisher from v8.5 to v10. QlikView Publisher features have been tremendously changed starting v9.0.

My recommendation is to do a brand new v10.0 installation in the server and manually create the Publisher tasks. Please remember there is no job and task concepts in v10.0. You can handle everything using task with the Category name which reduces the additional job creation overhead unlike v8.5.
