Hi, i have a general query...
In an application we have, there are thousands of products loaded in. I was wondering if there is a quick way to select a lot of product codes rather than key in each one while holding down the CTRL button down?
A user is complaining that they have selected around 70 codes but then left go of the CTRL button by mistake and lost all of the selected codes.
Any ideas would be great
Thanks
Check out the attached application.
This application has a input box where user can input there product code in coma limited format and i`m taking this into a variable and selecting the repective value in list box.
Mapped a 'Select in Field' trigger in Document property -->Triggers--> Variable Event Trigger--> On Change.
Hope this helps you.

Hi,
I suggest if it is in single column so use select All by clicking on Button or also you are able to send it to excel
See the attached sample

Hi Anand, Thanks for your reply, but i don't think you understood my question...
I have 83000 products loaded into my application. I want to select 100 of them (100 Specific codes).
Is there a way i can quickly select them instead of searching for them and holding down CTRL and clicking.
The button would work but how do i input more than one code into the 'Select in Fiels' option in the ACTIONS tab?
Thanks

Hi Chris,
Let's assume that you are working on retail products. In this case you have ProductID and ProductName. Best thing is to create a logical group for all these products. Something like this... Groceries, Vegetables, Drinks, Cosmetics etc.
Once you have logical grouping for all the products then user can select the specific group. For example if the user selects Drinks as the logical group and we have 100's of different varities in drinks. Now you can create a Slider Object with Multi Selection. Now the user selects based on the ProductID on the Slider. So it will be very easy for the user to drag and move across the products and also easily amend different products.
This is just an idea. I hope it helps!

Thanks Sridhar, this looks promising.
Chris - I agree with you. Sridhar's solution is more relevant to your question.
Thanks Sridhar, I am going to use this idea.
