Solved: Modify qvw via qvp protocol - Qlik Community

Hi all, does anybody know if it is possible to edit and save .qvw files directly on the server via qvp protocol. I am the owner of the file, but the command "save" is not accessible.

Hi,

It is not possible to save the qvw file on browser, but all you can do is create a charts, dashboards, reports and that will be seen to you. If you want to share them you can achieve this by collaboration objects. For these purpose you require a Name CAL license.

There is no way to modify a qvw through a server access, no matter what client you use.
