Can i assumptions that
* report means Pivot or Straight table object.
* and when you open the document you may need to export this report into PDF.
If you want, there is a report property. You can print the object into multi sheet report.
The only thing you need to do is, you need to add this object inside the report you create under the report property.
When you click, it will export into PDF/print it directly.
What exactly do you expect?
We usually face two different requirements with regard to PDF in our projects:
a) Automated server-side creation of PDF reports during/after reload process. Then send PDF documents out to end users.
b) Ad-hoc creation of PDF reports in the Ajax/Desktop client.
For a) you need to licence the PDF-option. This is an add on to the QV-Server (actually on top of the Publisher). Ask your QV-partner for details.
For b) you need the Desktop Client in order to create the PDF-Template. No additional licence or installation needed. Basically, you then just drag & drop the objects into the template. We usually create separate objects to be used in PDF reports only. Just create an additional tab and add all these objects to this tab. Then hide the tab for all end users.
