The DataBase is an accdb file located on Sharepoint site where client has their data. Accessed through a browser, Windows prompts for a password and after it is provided access is given for opening or saving the file on my machine, so I have no problem connecting manually each time.
I want to connect automatically from QlikView to update the data every several minutes, but when I attempt to do so (OLE DB connect to the path/filename) and test the connection the following message appears:
"Test connection failed because of an error in initializing provider. Not a valid file name."
Could you help me/ give me more info on this point?
I have MS Office 12.0 Access database engine OLEDB provider.
