Internet explorer 8 doesn't work with Qlikview server 10 sr4 on https

Hi all,

i've installed ssl on qlikview server 10 sr4 following the steps described on p 261 of server manual; the issues is that only internet explorer 8 doesn't connect to the accessPoint site while firefox, chrome, safari and ie9 connect work without problems

Does anyone have any idea about this issue?

The operating system of windows client are xp mostly, qlikview server uses its own webserver

Hi,

yes this issue was solved at the end, it depended by the security certificate installation. Now I've a new issue with qvs 10 sr4 with IIs 7.5 in https and IE 9.0;  I followed the suggestions done (see my thread: Authentication on qlikview server x64 and IE9) but I didn't solve it, every time I try to connect to qlikview access point by internet explorer 9, it asks for my credentials three times, then I am able to view my welcome page. This behaviour doesn't happen with other browsers like chrome or firefox.

Qlikview server is installed on a x64 server

Could you have any suggestion for me?

Hi Marco,

I am facing the same problem with IE 8 which i had installed recently.

Please let me know exactly which certificate needs to be installed to solve this issue
