Qlikview 11 and IIS 7 failed to contact server

good day,

I installed qlikview 11 server with IIS 7 but the problem is that when I select the server/domain name Qlikview detects the machine's netbios name,

for example machine name = Mars-QlikView, but when I select this during the installation it gives me Mars-QlikV. then if i apply the license it throws me an error that it failed to contact the server.

please help me on this.. thanks!

It seems like you have different issues. First, it shouldn't matter if you have IIS or QVWS on how you apply the license.

Are you running all services with a local admin account?
