how can I fill a variable with a query for an input box

I hope somebody can help me.

I have an input box and I want fill it with a names from a query, I use an variable called cliente and I want a list dropdown.

is this posible?

Check the Constraints Tab of listbox if ur requirement fulfills.

Hi,

You can't populate an input box with drop down list.

If the list of clients is at hand, create a field containing it and assign the field to a multi box object.

If it's not answering your question, please clarify what are the needs from this variable.

take an input box add a variable and where ever you want to querry it, just call the variable..

Right click on sheet
go to new sheet object
select input box chart
make a title any like top n customer
add a variable (click on new variable)
give name as N
go to constraint
check Enable edit Expression
Value - give any 10 / 20 etc
Value list - predefined values in drop drown - predefined values will get enabled -
select range - you can select list values to make exact range-
make a chart - select dimension as customer- expression sum(sales) - go to presentation -
select max number(1-100)- put name in expression as your variable (N)
by this when ever u will make query, this variable will response. like u slect top variable 6
top 6 customer's records are fetched from this query
