Active Directory entry from another domain - Qlik Community

Hi Community

I have a new user from an different Active Directory domain. I can add his userID to the 8.2 release publisher task but when published, the document access is only for the local domain users plus an internal security ID which I assume is my new user.

The new user cannot see any files from the Access Portal and if he is given the report file, this fails to load with his credentials.

Any thoughts, suggestions ?

There are serveral things that could cause this. I would start my making sure there is Trust setup between the domains.

Hi Bill

hmmm ... I can alter the security of an ordinary file on the server to include the user from the other domain so the basic operating system is correct and the domain trust is enabled.
