transferring qlikview server license from one server to other

Hi All,

I need to uninstall QlikView server from a machine which has got valid license and I need to install the QlikView server in another machine. Will my license get updated or i will create any problem. Any possibilities to transfer the license.

Any ideas/suggestions!

You'll be fine. Transfering the license is not a problem when uninstalling the QVS from the old machine

Hi, I already clicked on: Clear License in my old server

But when I Apply the License in the new one, it shows me this error: Failed to retrieve settings from QlikView Server

Any ideas of why this is happening? Do I need to uninstall completely QVS in my previous server?
