# How to write set analysis

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone help me how to write set analysis for this below three expression?

1)RangeMin(\$(vMarketFare1),\$(vMarketFare2),\$(vMarketFare3),\$(vMarketFare4),\$(vMarketFare5),\$(vMarketFare6),\$(vMarketFare7),\$(vMarketFare8),

\$(vMarketFare9),\$(vMarketFare10),\$(vMarketFare11),\$(vMarketFare12),\$(vMarketFare13),\$(vMarketFare14),\$(vMarketFare15),\$(vMarketFare16),

\$(vMarketFare17),\$(vMarketFare18),\$(vMarketFare19),\$(vMarketFare20))

2)RangeMin(If(\$(vMKTFare1) = \$(vMarketFare2), Null(), \$(vMarketFare2)), If(\$(vMKTFare1) = \$(vMarketFare3), Null(), \$(vMarketFare3)), If(\$(vMKTFare1) = \$(vMarketFare4), Null(), \$(vMarketFare4)), If(\$(vMKTFare1) = \$(vMarketFare5), Null(), \$(vMarketFare5)),If(\$(vMKTFare1) = \$(vMarketFare6), Null(), \$(vMarketFare6)),

If(\$(vMKTFare1) = \$(vMarketFare7), Null(), \$(vMarketFare7)),If(\$(vMKTFare1) = \$(vMarketFare8), Null(), \$(vMarketFare8)),If(\$(vMKTFare1) = \$(vMarketFare9), Null(), \$(vMarketFare9)),

If(\$(vMKTFare1) = \$(vMarketFare10), Null(), \$(vMarketFare10)),If(\$(vMKTFare1) = \$(vMarketFare11), Null(), \$(vMarketFare11)),If(\$(vMKTFare1) = \$(vMarketFare12), Null(), \$(vMarketFare12)),

If(\$(vMKTFare1) = \$(vMarketFare13), Null(), \$(vMarketFare13)),If(\$(vMKTFare1) = \$(vMarketFare14), Null(), \$(vMarketFare14)),If(\$(vMKTFare1) = \$(vMarketFare15), Null(), \$(vMarketFare15)),

If(\$(vMKTFare1) = \$(vMarketFare19), Null(), \$(vMarketFare19)),If(\$(vMKTFare1) = \$(vMarketFare20), Null(), \$(vMarketFare20)))

3)RangeMin(

If(\$(vMarketFare15) = MKT1 OR \$(vMarketFare15)= MKT2, Null(), \$(vMarketFare15)),

If(\$(vMarketFare16) = MKT1 OR \$(vMarketFare16)= MKT2, Null(), \$(vMarketFare16)),

If(\$(vMarketFare17) = MKT1 OR \$(vMarketFare17)= MKT2, Null(), \$(vMarketFare17)),

If(\$(vMarketFare18) = MKT1 OR \$(vMarketFare18)= MKT2, Null(), \$(vMarketFare18)),

If(\$(vMarketFare19) = MKT1 OR \$(vMarketFare19)= MKT2, Null(), \$(vMarketFare19)),

If(\$(vMarketFare20) = MKT1 OR \$(vMarketFare20)= MKT2, Null(), \$(vMarketFare20))

• ###### Re: How to write set analysis

Hi Siva,

I hope your whole application doesn't look like this three expressions - especially your first two expressions are very hard to read...

And perhaps you think about giving a little clue about your data(model) and the purpose of your expressions - perhaps someone will find a more elegant solution.

regards,

Edgar
