What you need to use at a first glance is use CONCATENATE that will append the new table to an existing one. Take a look at the following example:
LastMonth: LOAD AC, SALES, DATE FROM August.qvd (qvd); CurrentMonth: CONCATENATE (LastMonth) LOAD * FROM SeptemberFile.xls ... //At this moment you only have one table: LastMonth that you can store //into only one QVD with data from both months.
