I'm really struggling to load data from the above format i.e. Field not found but however when i comment those specific fields the script executes successfully.
When i comment the following fields in the square brackets the scritp runs.
[ PRINC-AMOUNT ]
[ PRINC-BALANCE ]
[ ARREARS TOTAL]
Now i wondering could it be how the data was captured? Besides the above fields data type is currency(Money)
Does it work if you remove the leading and trailing spaces from the field names in both the csv file and your load script?
I guess it's the formatting in the csv file, so i copied that file and pasted only the values (paste options) and now it's executes successfully. Thanks anyway,
Have you tried the function - SET VERBATIM=1; This function should help you out, dont forget to set the verbatim back to =0 afterwords.
Kindly shed light on that fucntion. Thanks
Well that function helped me in the same problem - If the function ignore the blanks in the fieldnames, Qlikview read at least my file. The alternative where to edit the file and remove the blanks in the fieldnames.
