Search in a straight table chart

Hello

I have a straight table chart with a single dimension (customer name) and several expressions (sales amount, time consumed and so on). This table serves as filter through which the user selects a customer and then gets a detailed analysis using other objects on the sheet.

Everything is fine, besides the fact I dont see to be able to find how to enable the search for that customer name column...

You should enable Dropdown Select for that column in the presentation tab, the search is then available after you click on the dropdown icon.

If your want to search for names with wildcards I would suggest to use the new search box in QV9. You can adjust it for searching on only this field.
