how to get current selection get's exported

i'm using qlikview 11

and my user want current selection to be exported in excel

in the ihave enables the export setting option in user preferences

settings--> user preference -->export --> on BIFF export

it working from qlikview desktop side

but still i don't see while exporting from access point

what options needs to be enabled

Hi do u want to export all the current selections into excel or a particular chart or something..

all current selections  are needed to exported when we export a staright table

I'm not sure about the AJAX, but in IE you can do this:
Press Alt+Ctrl+U to get to the User preferences, and check "On BIFF Export".

thanks for the reply,

this option is enabled and it's working when we export object(straight table) we can see cureent selection in the bottom

but the same application (but from IE browser ) when you export it does not show the current selection

why is it so ? is it a bug ?

This is not a "Document" property, it is a "User" property.  That means this settings are not stored as a part of application.

Next, the settings you made in Desktop have nothing to do with the settings in IE plugin - they are to different entitirs, hence you need to configure both.

i'm not that expert in qlikview

can you please help in fixing this issue

how do i configure the IE setting to get current selections exported ?

or is there a way that my end user can see there selection list when exported (in this case)?

Follow these steps:
Open a QV application in IE.  Click anywhere on a background to make sure the application is active.  Press Ctrl+Alt+U to bring User Preferences for QV IE Plugin.  On the tab Export, check "On BIFF Export".  Click OK.
Repeat the above on each user machine.  Not for each application, because it is per user.

For some reason i could not open user preferences from IE browser (i'm using IE browser). but my plugin is AJAX,

if it not works with ajax, then is there any other ways that we can fix this issue.
