We added 128 GB of new memory last night to our QlikView server which also hosts publisher to improve performance. The strangest thing happened this morning. First the server started to use the paging file up to 135 GBs and then it locked up. Then the system stabilized and the available memory and paging file both went down to 15 GB. Both used memory and virtual memory are rising at the same rate and are currently at 41GBs although the server recoginizes that there is 88 GBs of memory available. We did not change any setting before or after the memory install. Has anyone seen this or know how to make the server use all of the available memory. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
