One of my QlikView applications pulls data from an Access Database. Access has a field as a text field, but when the data goes to QlikView it seems to convert some of the codes to numbers while leaving the ones beginning with a letter as text. What can I do so that QlikView considers all entries for this field as text? I tried modifying my load statement the way I’d do it if this was an Excel file.
Text(Header_Diagnosis_Code_Primary) as [Primary Diagnosis Code]
However, QlikView didn’t recognize the Text command as part of this load statement like it did in the load statements for my Excel files.
