Implementing security on a dashboard by various user types.

I have a dashboard developed in QlikView.

We would like to deploy following security scenarios. Please refer to attached

1) First user group should have access to 2 of the 6 tabs. Ideally, the remaning 4 should be hidden but it would work if they are greyed out.

2) Second User Group should have access to one of the 7 filters. Ideally, remaning 6 should be hidden but it will work of they are greyed out.

3) Third group should see only a particular value in the drop down for filters.

Any recommendations in terms of implmenting this will be highly appreciated.

This can be done through section access or through publisher... Youtube has some wonderful videos on section action, 8 videos for different scenarios. try searching youtube.

Hi,

As Saad notes, this type of security can be achieved using Section Access feature of QlikView, where you can define Groups inside the script and reduce the application to show data according to the group accessing it.
