XML files

Hi

I have a little problem to locate some XML files:

First i will explain our environment:

First we had in production 1 server: QV02

Then we added QV03

QV03 was replaced by QV04 what was a much more powerfull server

Then we added a new server QV05

On QV02 there is QVS and QDS

On QV04 there is QVS

and on QV05 there is QVS and QDS

There is a cluster for QVS but no cluster for QDS.

On the server QVWEB01 there all the log files are stored

All servers are running QV 11.20 (on windows 2008 R2)

On QVWEB01 i can find all XML files for QV02 (C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\ManagementService\QVPR)

But i can not find any XML files for QV05 (not on QV05 and not on QVWEB01)

I want them to be on QVWEB01

Any suggestions?

You can go into the QMC and move the QVPR, but the XML files that are there are to control the Distribution service. They have nothing to do with the webserver.

I know they have nothing to do with the webserver, they are only stored on the web server.

But i need them to do reporting on the scheduled tasks.

Now i can only do reporting on the jobs running on QV02 because i don't have XML files of the QV05

I really don't know what your setup is. If the Distribution services are cluster then then QVPR directory would have the information for both Distribution Services.

Only the server is clustered, the distribution services are not clustered.

Otherwise we can only run 8 jobs at the same time.

Have you looked in QVManagementService.exe.config under Program Files\Qlikview\Management Service on QV05? The value for key "ApplicationDataFolder" (if entered) might help if it's been changed.

You have a single QMS (Management service) defined right?

The QVPR definded the QMS contains tasks for both QV02 and QV05.
