Modifying working set parameters

Hi guys.

What would be the immediate effect of modifying Low and High parameters in Working Set?

Our server is absolutely dedicated to QlikView.

We have increased the Low parameter from 70 to 80, trying to delay swapping as much as possible.

Are we doing right?

Thank you!

Hi,

Working Set Low means it will assign minimum of 70% of RAM to the QlikView Server and max of 80% of total RAM.

What exactly you mean by delay swapping?

Hi,

The only really way to stop swapping is to add more memory. The working set is to let with performance and if you are running out of memory increasing the value will not help.
