How can i make group by on the sales?
I want to compare total sales by month-
to compare the total sales of january to the total forecast of january etc.
Don't know what you really want. Please check attached file...
I want to write a script (in the edit scrupt) that will bring the total actual sales of each month versus a forecast of sales each month.
The Field sales in the forecast table is"Forecast_Amount".
The Field sales in the table Sales_Actual is "Amount".

Manish got there first, my qvw is very similar his.
It is shame that their are no common dimensions for the 2 tables to give some slicing & dicing, but unfortunately that is oft the case with real data from the real world.
