In our monthly ‘Round of Applause’ we showcase our shining stars on Qlik Community.
The Qlik Community is built on curiosity, collaboration, and a shared love for data—and few embody that spirit better than Diego Zecchini! This month, we’re thrilled to recognize Diego for his passion, problem-solving mindset, and invaluable contributions to the Community.
Diego, who works in Information Systems, is a dedicated contributor who thrives on exchanging ideas, tackling tough challenges, and staying ahead of best practices. He’s been an active presence in the Community, not just answering questions but also learning from others and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with Qlik solutions.
For Diego, working with data isn’t just a job—it’s a passion. “I often find myself lost in massive datasets just for the fun of spotting patterns, associations, or anomalies,” he shares. “There’s something fascinating about the hidden stories numbers can tell.” His ability to dive deep into raw data and uncover valuable insights makes him a true asset to the Community.
When he’s not analyzing data, Diego enjoys strategy games, playing piano, drawing, and billiards, always looking for creative ways to integrate technology into business processes.
Diego, thank you for being such an engaged and insightful member of the Qlik Community! Your contributions make a real impact, and we’re thrilled to celebrate you this month.

We're excited to introduce our featured member for the month of August: This month we are featuring an amazing Qlik employee, Jonny Poole! Jonny has been an integral part of Qlik for the past 13 years as a member of the Presales organization. Throughout his time with Qlik, he has demonstrated a profound dedication to designing associative models and highlighting their value through the main Qlik client interfaces as well as value-added interfaces like reporting.
Jonny’s journey into the world of reporting began with his previous employer, Cognos (IBM), where he developed a passion for solving customer problems through his extensive experience in customer support. This background has been invaluable in his role at Qlik, where he has continued to help customers, partners, and prospects solve their most pressing data challenges.
Jonny shared, “Participating in the Qlik Community is the perfect opportunity to further my interest and to gain a pulse on the day-to-day needs of Qlik practitioners worldwide from customers, partners, prospects, and others.”
Please join us in congratulating Jonny on his outstanding contributions to the Qlik Community. Let's show our appreciation by commenting and hitting that like button! Thank you, Jonny, for inspiring us with your dedication and passion. @JonnyPoole @Melissa_Potvin @Jamie_Gregory @nicole_ulloa

Just for fun, for the fans of Severance.
See an example of how Qlik Answers was used to help the severed employees of Lumon Industries, a proud Qlik customer, with Mr. Seth Milchick, a Qlik Luminaire, leading the Qlik iniciatives in the company.
The assistant created is linked to two different knowledge bases: the Innie KB and the Outie KB. Because of the secure nature of Qlik Answers, even using the same assistant, the Innie and Outie of each employee can only see what they are supposed to see.
It is a short video demo you can watch here:
The board filter is missing some boards, at least those with new titles (App Development and the Visualization board). Also, the popup showing boards is not scrollable.
Bonjour,
Voici mes 2 calculs actuels :
sum(if(VALIDATION = 'Oui' and FINANCEMENT='Aide Région' and wildmatch(EQUILIBRE, '*complet*') and (Nature ='travaux'),(MT_AIDE+14000) * (NB_LGT )))
Et le 2ème :
sum(if(VALIDATION = 'Oui' and FINANCEMENT='Aide Région' and not wildmatch(EQUILIBRE, '*partiel*') and (Nature ='travaux'),(MT_AIDE) * (NB_LGT )))

Pls take a look at 'Member Since' dates 🙂
BTW, there are around 300 other Guys, where dates are somehow different.
There is definitelly sth wrong with the date regstration in community DB - perhaps the date is taken as it is in the user system ? I don't know ...

I'm running into an issue where when using a Snowflake Connection to use a tDBoutput component, the tables does get created in Snowflake, but every time I try to insert data into it, it says the table isn't found.
If I use the same connection params, credentials, roles etc... using a JDBC Connection an choosing the snowflake JAR file creation and inserts work fine.
I've also confirmed the account and roles used has the correct permissions on the DB and schema, if it was a permissions thing, I'd expect the JDBC connection to give the same error.
🎉 Happy New Year, Qlik Community! 🎉

Hello, there!
To start my 2025, I decided to write about what will be one of the hottest topics of the year: Agentic AI. Hugging Face, AWS, OpenAI and others are now offering Agentic AI implementation services. new libraries in Python are becoming popular. People are talking about it but most don't really understand what is going on.
Fear not, my dear Padawans, my newest Data Voyagers articles is here to the rescue!
Read it all here. If I get enough views, I might even do a couple videos coding a real example/
Hi everyone,
A big thank you to all who joined our Qlik Community office hours and contributed to the engaging discussions on ideation. We truly appreciate your thoughtful questions! Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding the Incremental Load mechanism in QlikView. As you know, implementing Incremental Load typically requires a field like Last Modified
or its equivalent in the QVD to identify which records have changed. This allows us to load only the new or updated data and merge it with the existing dataset.
However, in cases where such a field does not exist in the QVD, it seems Incremental or Partial Load isn't feasible. Instead, all data—whether changed or unchanged—gets added to the target table during each load, effectively concatenating the new data with the old.
My question is:
Is there any way to handle this scenario? Specifically, can we implement Incremental Load without having a field that tracks changes? I’d really appreciate it if you could share any solutions or experiences related to this situation.
