Hi,

Starting with the April 2020 version, QDC supports Publish and creation of QVD as system target.

From the release notes:

In publish module, when publishing an entity the output format choices had been "TEXTFILE" and "PARQUET",
this enhancement adds a third format choice "QVD". When this option is selected, scheduled jobs will generate
and publish QVDs to the configured target. Note that if QVD file format is selected, the merge mode is restricted
to MERGED.
Publish/Creation of QVD is available for all but the following target types:
Hadoop - HDFS and Hive
Amazon - S3 and Redshift

So the easiest way to publish QVDs back to a Qlik Sense windows environment, is to create a mount point (or use the existing one that you need to setup for onboarding QVDs) on the QDC Linux environment pointing to a windows folder, and to use "File on Qlik Data Catalyst Server" as a Target Type - see attachement.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

As far as I know, you can't.

When you publish to a file, you can only choose .csv or .parquet.

Best regards,
