Qlik Catalog podium.base script and change post install

Hi everyone,

so.... because I did not find any documentation regarding the process of changing podium.base directory to a new one, after Qlik Catalog has already been populated with entities and so on.

On the core_env properties it states:

##################################
### Global Configuration ###
##################################

# Base/root of Podium HDFS directory structure. All data is stored/manipulated relative to this
# base. CAUTION: Changing this value after data has been loaded by Podium will require an upgrade
# script (i.e., existing data in Podium will have to be moved to the new base as a result of this
# property change).
podium.base=/usr/local/qdc/data

...what kind of script is necessary to change all data once they decide to move the podium.base directory?

Is it just a filesystem script change or it will impact also the PostgreSQL DB and all the entities placed inside there?

I could not find anything.

Thank You

V

Dbt-synapse adapter works great. Not sure if you tried it. Also not sure what you mean when you say it doesn't work well with spark? The dbt-spark adapter seemed to work well for me, especially on databricks, which is unneeded now since they made their own adapter in dbt-databricks.
