In Qlik Sense Nov 2020, I can connect to an Access db via OLE DB and see both tables and queries.
In MS Access, there is an option to link to a table in another access db. The linked tables do not show up in Qlik when attempting to connect. Any query that uses a linked table also does not show up.
I did a test, where I created a linked table using a fully qualified domain path that the qlik server could resolve, and the linked table still could not be connected in qlik sense.
I could find no documentation on this on the OLE DB connection help pages. there are almost no details there on any specific types of OLE DB connections in the help pages.
Does qlik sense support connecting to to linked tables in ms access db via OLE DB?
if so, how do you get them to work? how do you get them to show up in the list of tables
I did an OLEDB connection outside of Qlik and also did not see the linked tables.
so this looks like an issue with OLEDB not with Qlik.
as a workaround, you can do another OLEDB connection to the other database, but then the development will need to be done in qlik app, cannot use access to do the joins and what not.
