daily upload via connectors

Hello dear experts,

I was wondering if it is possible to connect QLIK Sense to a SAP system or generic database via a connector like ODBC or SAP Connector AND refresh this connection once a day.

Ideally the tables should be loaded once a day from the database.

This means that the dashboard will always receive information that is at most one day old. Do any of you have an idea how to implement this or a hint where I can find information on this question?

Best regards and thanks for you help. Have a nice day

Hi @MaxSta_ConVista

To connect to SAP NetWeaber the SAP Connector is used, which requires a license, the SAP Connector has different connectors, you can find more information on how to make the connection and the use of each connector in the following link https://help.qlik.com/en-US/connectors/Subsystems/SAP_Connectors_Help/Content/Connectors_SAP/SAP-SQL...

If you are going to connect to SAP S / 4HANA, this is done using SAP's own ODBC connector, this connector is installed with the SAP HANA client on the Qlik Sense Server.

To connect to other sources of information Qlik Sense has different native connectors, but you can also use ODBC or OLE DB, but these must be installed on the Qlik Sense server.

Once you finish extracting the information and creating the dashboard, in the Qlik Management Console you must create the task schedule for that dashboard, at that moment the periodicity with which the data will be updated is indicated. You can read more about this in the following link:
