After upgrading PostgreSQL 9.6 to 12.1 version we are not able to start Qlik Sense Repository Database (QRD)

We were able to complete the patch upgrade but now we are facing a new problem.
After upgrading PostgreSQL 9.6 to 12.1 version we are not able to start Qlik Sense Repository Database (QRD) and facing below error.

The QlikSense Repository Database service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some Services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.

 

Is there a fix for this?

Hello @markdur101,

 

After having upgraded the bundled postgres from 9.6 to 12 you have to delete this service, it is normal it's not working anymore.

After upgrade the DB, it's no longer using Qlik Sense Repository Database service, instead it's using a Postgres service.
