I've got a table / grid widget placed on my sheet.
The hover menu is enabled. On Chrome and Firefox, the hover menu is clearly visible and usable on shared and managed spaces. But on Edge browser not.
Are there any tricks, to convince Edge displaying the hover menu?
Hi Bean, I am using Qlik Sense May 2024 and it is working for me using Edge browser version 131.0.2903.70.
What product and version are you using?
Hi Alan,
We're using Qlik Sense Cloud - assume this is the latest version.
We tested under Win11. Everything works as reported, i.e. the missing icon of the hoover menu on Edge v131.0.2903.70. However, if I right click on the blank are on the table's top area, a selection menu appears as from the hoover.
Attached you find the newest screenshots I just established.
With Win10, my colleague reported the same issue.
Hi Bean, it is working for me. I would suggest to opening a case with support.
Could you try In_private windows?
Hello Alan
In private Edge window the same happens.
To investigate further, I build a simple test application.
a) On top you see a table directly on the sheet
b) Below I use a layout container with an embedded table.
On FireFox / Chrome, a) shows a hoover menu while on b) the hoover only exists for the layout container. I.e. the embedded table does not show the hoover. I also played with several combinations of enabling/disabling the hoover menu.
On Edge (private window) no hoover menu is visible at all. However, right clicking on white area uncovers the ... menu from hoover.
See attached screenshots and sample app.
Hi Bean, unless I am missing something it is working for me.
did you try resizing to 90% zoom the browser window?
Hi QFabian, still works for me.
