Monitor usage minutes for assigned (non-capacity) users

Hello all,

Is there a way to monitor usage minutes for assigned (non-capacity) users?

This is so we can periodically switch over less frequent assigned users to capacity users, freeing up the assigned licenses for heavier users.

Thank you,

Will

Hello,

You can use the Monitoring Application called "Session Monitor" for that purpose.

By default you have to import it manually from C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository\DefaultApps

In this application there is a sheet called "Session Details" with the information you are looking for.

You have things like:

  • Avg session duration per user
  • Session duration per session
  • Avg session duration per app
  • ...

You can of course apply a filter to define specific time range in the application.

Hope this helps!
