QlikSense - Log Time

Hi All,

Could someone please help explain which timezone time is stamped in the script log file.

I have a server with the windows time configured as CST.

I assume that the QlikSense logs should just take the windows time and stamp the log with the same.

To my surprise i see the script log showing UTC time in the logs.

Has anyone seen this behavior.

Is there any configuration space to configure the timezone for QlikSense.

Thanks,

Aadil

Hi!
This was a recent decision from last autumn: to progressively move all the timestamps in our products to UTC. So, yes, this is currently the expected behaviour.

However, we are currently reassessing this decision, and that might change in the relatively near feature.  No final conclusion has been reached yet.
Please, keep an eye on the release notes of upcoming versions, that's where we'll document any change that we might decide to apply.
