Upgrading from Feb 2023 - May 23 - Failed

Hi,

 

I need to bring our Sense Enterprise Windows upto date.  It was on the initial release of Feb 23. So I stepped through the patch updates so it was on Feb 23 / patch 13.   I then went to install May 23 Initial release and it got stuck on the Upgrading Repository DB for about 30 mins so I killed the process and restarted the server.

 

On subsequent attempts to update I get the following error:

and then in the log file these final lines :

I stop the services before each attempt at running the May 23 upgrade.

 

Can anyone help please?

Hi, 
Can you check the PostgreSQL installer log, in the same folder ? 
Maybe you'll have more information on the issue. (Invalid password for instance).

Hello @Senor_Dai 

 

In the logfiles created can you search for the term "value 3" That will reveal which exact action failed.

Another question is did you use QPI somewhere before the upgrade, meaning was your Qlik Sense Repository Database Service (if still existing) set to manual startup?
