i read some help on the qlik site, and also watched some youtube tutorials.
either way, we have 2 departments in our company starting using qlik.
everyone is using it for totaly different things.
dep A (controlling):
using a lot of data from an ERP system for analysing sales etc.
they dont change much on the script, but many set analysis and if statements etc.
relaod of data during night.
dep B (IT):
using it for analysing different databases, looking for errors, wrong filled fields etc.
so they do much scripting and reloading a lot of data during the day.
dep B has no "End Customers"
but in dep A, as stated before, the developers working a lot, trying a lot of things,
and also the there are the most end users, they are only analyzing the given data.
at the moment we are on a singel side node and want to go to multinode.
i have 3 virtuell machines.
failover is not interessting.
i wanted to set up a central node, a consumer Node and a scheduler node.
i was wondering if this is the correct setup, and also, when the consumer node only serves the data, and the scheduler is relaoding the data, is the central node doing anything at all?
