I have been asked to add a static report in my QlikView app that can be created as a PDF. Since I don't have the licensing to publish a PDF, I had to do some digging. What I found is that I can open an SSRS report from SharePoint via it's URL. I found where parameters can be passed in the URL, as well as a command for the output to be rendered as a PDF. I have added an action to a button to open the URL.
Conceptually, it's working well for me. My fear is that since I have found absolutely nothing on this topic, I'm worried that I am heading down a path I don't want to travel.
